Janet,

I do not experience any noticeable cycles regarding Kundalini. I find
that Kundalini activity and the Kundalini symptoms are definitely
activated and energised by all types of Yoga (exercise, breathing,
meditation, music, mathematics, etc).

Sometimes even "keep fit" and "body building" type of exercises also
cause Kundalini activity. Sometimes there is no apparent trigger, and
the Mudras and Kriyas can cause a bit of embarrassment in public
locations.

The main general characteristic of Kundalini activity is the extremely
wide (and deep) variety of experiences.

Jack.
