I am SOOOOOO happy to hear that other people see this as well. Actually typing "seeing blue light " with eyes closed .. along with cold feeling up the back in a search engine....is what helped me to find out what Kundalini was.
Kahurangi- sparkle is the perfect word for it...it does glitter. Hilary thanks for forwarding that info! Hillary - blue is also the color of the blue-lotus flower. The color though is so intense like which is why I am interested in the color.
Kahurangi - I have seen two other colors..once I saw a bright cyan blue-white color..and once I did see a red one ...but it was more black in color..with a red halo...much like the way the sun looks when it eclipsed by the moon.
Daniel I will definelty check out that book.
I have never though of it as being a spirit guide this though is very interesting. Nor have I ever tried to concentrate on it ... perhaps b/c I have never done mediation. It is never centered it is always sort of on the side. I will give it some practice...see what happens.
First time saw it was after I cried all night b/c my ex husband who has my son stopped calling me for about 3 months ... and Christmas night I had no idea where my son was. I had wanted to fly down and see him..so there I was with all his toys..and no idea if he was OK.I kept thinking he might be dead. So perhaps crying was mediating in my case?
I DO feel this light is a star or some connection of the inner micro -cosmos within the body...why? Because in my case...the first time I saw it was when I looked up at the sky after crying ( around 4 am) and I saw the morning star...or was it Venus..I am not sure. I felt like it pierced me right through the forehead. Then - when I went to sleep that and closed my eyes that morning I saw it for the first time. It was slightly scary at first...because I felt like it was burned into me...into my vision
Sorry for rambling. This is the first time I have ever felt ok telling this to people. without the fear of being scoffed at. I am very grateful to have found you guys....
