It's a nice poem and all, but I, One Man Alone(though not alone on the thought), am all for a war. This is not the first time we've had to warn Iraq or another country about weapons. Bush is right. With Saddam in power, there's always a threat. As I said before, "war brings peace, peace brings war(but only I bring despair< That's what I use to say)". I don't know if someone's already said that. I think I may have heard it in a dream. In any case, if the pattern of W/P/W/P is broken into W/P/P- what could come next? 2 possibilities. 1, if you're a romantic, you said P, because you think that interference will change mankind. Determination and conviction alone cannot change the choices of a president or ANY angered man. Poems don't change minds, they inspire, like maybe after the war, Bush will try to help a smaller country or something along those lines. War is in human nature and always has been. With W/P/P-, that still, with the usual ratios, leaves a W to be filled. The pattern would be W/P/P/W. A worse view is P/P/W/W. That's twice as much war in half the time as the original equation. So the second possibility is, W, and the most likely. After all, how many times, over time, would an angry man(Not you. A man.) point a gun at his armed enemy before pulling the trigger? Whether or not the missiles are gone now, they could easily slap together some new ones in the future. We need the equation to keep everything calm. Just more thought's from, One Man Alone.
P.S. I'm doing push-ups. I'm too lazy to do sit-ups right now. But I'll get around to it.
