The Middle Path (between the extremes of existing in self
and existing selflessly) is found in Buddhism
with that name - as we probably are aware.

In the Christian model the person (Jesus in us)
becomes closer to the Ideal (Christ/God in us)

is integrated with the potential of successive
experiences.
