How interesting....

This is a duality question, which raises the issue: How did we get here?
What did we lose? and why did we lose it in the first place? and would we
lose it again if we got back to where we can from?
Of course, these are transcendental questions and can never be answered with
the intellect. What you are stating has substance within duality. However,
from a non-dual perspective... Can
there be any "coming or going?" To use a Christian allegory: Did Adam and
Eve ever leave the garden of Eden? -- Perhaps they only "thought" they did.

This is a classic example of ego at work. And of coarse, the ego loves
entertainment and the glamour of life. It's ego's way of glossing over the
bad things to
make itself look good, when in actuality, it has (ironically) deluded itself
by not seeing its own self inflicted suffering. And as you said about the
two girls, they are competing with each other because each girl is envious
of the other. Sadly, the two girls couldn't see it because they were too
involved with their self created dramas. This is another example of ego self
preservation , but now it has become an aberration.
The ego sees that it has to "preserve" or "defend" its good character.
This imo is a classic example of how ego really deludes itself for all the
wrong reasons. Whereas, (as ken and I were discussing in our last post),
the true purpose of the ego is to serve the human animal for physical
survival.

Moot point. Mind is such a complex phenomenon. Maybe further elaboration is
required?

Thanks for trying to find common ground, 'Tis good to chat. (-:

Much love,
