Hi, this is One Man Alone(not too alone anymore though). I would like to thank everyone. While I was reading all the responses, I came to a great realization. Memories of emotions and states came back to me. Whenever I walk amongst a crowd, I feel different. I feel like I'm not necessarily part of the crowd, but rather like I'm observing it. I'm not sure how to describe this, but I felt like I was, well not necessarily better than everyone else, but rather I wanted them to be at my state of mind. I originally thought that maybe I was bored and depressed and wanted to take everyone down with me, but now I realize that that "bored" state was really a state of calmness and I wanted to take everybody UP with me. I feel sad when I see other people sad. I feel lonely when I see someone walking by themselves. When I help a stranger, I smile to see them happy. I think this may be part of that "connection". If I make people happy, I can be happy. If not, I'll have a nostalgia to do so but will still be calm. When I came to this realization reading responses, I couldn't help but look out my window. It's late afternoon as I write this, and the dark blue sky and leafless trees, they make me feel at home. They make me feel simple yet more than I appear. While looking out my window, one of my cats, Casper, jumped on my lap, and his twin brother Taz came out from under the bed. I threw one of their toys around to keep them busy while I finished this post. They fight each other a lot, but they're really nice when they're not fighting. Anyway, I just wanted to thank EVERYONE for their help. Well, I posted more than I thought I would today, so I'm going to hold off until tomorrow or whenever something post-worthy comes up. Thank you.
