I changed my breathing from the way we breathe
"naturally" - since birth (since no one ever "taught"
us how to breathe) to a breathing technique used
during meditation. Lots of people believe in various
ways of breathing, but what I was taught & what
"being" has been comfortable with is the following:

Instead of just "breathing", count the # of breaths
you take in & take that same # of breaths out (at the
same, equal, slow pace in & out). For instance: as you
slowly & evenly inhale *through your nose* count in
your head to
say....6...1.........2........3.........4..........5.......6
then, exhaling through your mouth (more advanced
tricks come in here later, but for now) count that
same slow pace as you exhale through your
mouth....1.........2........3.........4..........5.......6....never
pausing between the inhale & the exhale.

As "trivial" as it sounds, it is EXTREMELY difficult
to incorporate this technique in your daily breathing
habits, but with enough DISCIPLE & DEDICATION, it will
become "second-nature" to you, as it has for me; -
where there will be NO NEED to count in your head
anymore. Don't get frustrated if you try it for a few
weeks...or months...or years. Just don't even think
about what you're doing. Some people it may become
"second-nature" in a few weeks...some people strive
for it their whole lifetime & do not achieve it. The
best way to make it happen for you is just to NOT
THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE DOING - JUST LET IT BE! *I
CANNOT STRESS THIS POINT ENOUGH*

This has DRAMATICALLY CHANGED MY ENTIRE LIFE & I hope
to help more people "feel" as I do.
