Dear Kenric,

You'll find a great deal about toe, leg and foot involvement in Lee Sannella's book Kundalini Experience. In many of the case histories feet and/or legs are mentioned.

On page 32 he writes: "I need to emphasize, however, that there are differences between my clinical observations and the classical model of the kundalini process. The most striking difference concerns the movement of the kundalini energy through the body-mind. According to the traditional scriptures of Yoga and Tantrism, the kundalini rises from the center at the base of the spine along the spinal axis to the crown of the head...By contrast, my clinical data and also some traditional non-Hindu accounts point to a movement of the kundalini proceeding from the feet and legs along the back of the trunk or along the spine to the head and from there down over the face, through the throat, and terminating in the abdomen. "

He further suggests that the differences in the descriptions may be due to the fact that "those who undergo spontaneous awakenings, without preconceived notions" about the process are the better observers.

Love, Hillary
