Heh. Thanks for letting me know. I think I can edit the digest confirmation post to supply the info. One more thing on my "things to do" list. You got it sorted, anyhow. Kind of neat, how the digest gets sorted into threads, eh? Grooovy.

I think I'm getting a little giddy... Rereading my post to rent-A-car-a, perhaps a lot giddy. Silly. Punchy. whoooo hoooo!! Not cranky at all tho. Amused.

In an effort to diminish the spam that is sent to any address that is put on a website, I have been setting up autoresponder robots to replace the old yahoogroups addresses. I am naming them after... famous robots!! Very original. I am trying to make it OBVIOUS that they are ROBOTS.

I find people are not clear on the concept of an autoresponder robot, and try to engage it in a discussion. Pretty one sided conversation, really.

I know this, because I get a copy of everything sent to the robots... which kind of defeats the purpose of having a robot to reduce spam, really... but the robot replies to people quicker than I do and at least the moderators are not all getting spammed anymore. Maybe I can find some dead but not bouncing address to redirect the copies to. Maybe the web-only info list, since nobody is subscribed to it anyway.

Perhaps some of my references are not clear. Robbietherobot AT_NOSPAM kundalini-gateway.org is named for a robot from a very old cult science fiction movie called "Forbidden planet". He tells people to introduce themselves to Hillary if they want to subscribe... until I manage to clear my things to do list.

I set up a robot to give out the new moderator address. I am not going to tell you what the moderator address is, because Jason said stupid autoresponder robots need love too, and giving out the moderator address gives the robot's life purpose and meaning. Well, purpose, at least.

I think us moderators all done got real good and goofy. Easily entertained. Do computer monitors fry brain cells?

So, if you want to know what the new moderator address is, you have to send a hug to Sputnik.
   sputnik AT_NOSPAM kundalini-gateway.org

I think I need to get some sleep.
    Blessings...
