Subject: [K-list] Personal/Transpersonal Pain

On 2003/01/06 07:49, orb a posted thus to the K-list:

Nearly everybody on our little planet has personal
core issues. Everyone has a story and experiences that
are unique. But really, all of our experiences are
just variations on a collective theme. Each of our
personal plot-lines reflect the issues that belong to
the whole of humanity. Every one of our little
microcosmic histories is tied into the larger,
macrocosmic picture. And all of our little personality
distortions are like a mirror for the collective
distorted patterns of mankind.

There is much discussion in the world today about
personal pain and core issues rising up for
resolution. It is clear that this entire planet is in
the throws of a collective dark night of the soul. And
so it follows that for those who are attuning to the
bigger picture of what is happening here on earth -
for those who are stepping into their true purpose for
having incarnated here - there is a personal dark
night arising as well.
How do we deal with this personal dark night of the
soul and with these old, ingrained and distorted
patterns of the self that are surfacing for us with
mounting urgency these days? How may we maintain
perspective on the grand scheme of things when our
little ?I? would compromise our gaze, preventing us
from looking up and out to see the forest for the
trees?

Well, we do have to go there, down deep into the core
of our inner darkness. There is no avoiding it if it
is ever to be truly healed, transmuted. But at the
same time we should not get so engrossed and mired in
our personal pain that we lose sight of the
transpersonal pain, the pain of the collective. It is
important for us to keep a true and inclusive
perspective so that we remember that the real reason
for clearing these distorted patterns within ourselves
is so that through the vehicle of our personal
microcosms, the transpersonal pain of the collective
may also be ultimately cleared.

We must maintain right focus.

To those who are sensitive, this world is recognized
to contain a great ocean of pain, sorrow, guilt, etc.
The misery of this world is inexhaustible, and many
human beings are creating more pain and sorrow daily
due their grasping in self, due to their wrong focus.
This is why the whole world awaits the approaching
transmutative Fire, which is an act of divine Mercy.
Only the Fire can deal comprehensively with the great
sea of pain and darkness that exists on earth.

Personal healing modalities are impotent with regard
to the world problem, as are world peace meditations,
political petitions and all other human efforts to
help the planet and the race of men. Such labors are
like placing cotton wool in a huge, disintegrating
dam.
Since the solution to all human problems must
necessarily be a divine solution, only the divine
Spirit, the Fire itself, can help.
And it is for that Fire, brought to earth by the
Transmuting Angel, that we now wait.

Mankind is being forced to attain right focus in these
climactical times or to collapse under the weight if
its own self-created burden.

Those who have attained right focus and who are
identified not with the separate self but with
Divinity, will BECOME the Transmutative Angel at the
time of the end.

In these last days, as we turn our gaze toward the
Divine, looking to God in pure, unselfish devotion, as
we focus upon responding to the Call of Christ to
serve the Plan unfolding on this planet, and as we
continue to ardently seek the Truth for the world and
humanity (not for self), we may begin to focus aright.

We must delve to the core of our personal pain, not
for our own sake, but for the sake of the world. The
soul of humanity and the body of Gaia are of far
greater consequence to the Logos than our little
selves, and it behooves us to maintain this
perspective if we would ?greet the coming Lord with
joy and not in grief?.
So as the personal pain that is held within our
microcosms arises within us, coming to the surface, it
must be felt, and if we are wise it will be offered
up, in repentance and self-surrender, to God.

Such purgations will and must occur. And they will
draw our focus, at least temporarily, down into the
self. But we must continually redirect our focus, back
toward God and toward the service that we have been
called to do for world and mankind, so as not to
become lost in a contracted and futile focus upon the
separate self and its endless little problems.

It is like free diving. Diving down, down, to the
bottom, to the core of our pain and the unintegrated
patterns held there; feeling them at our depths, we
may then bring back to the surface the pearl of
experience that turns to Wisdom. When we have
resurfaced, our treasure may be offered up to the
Divine to do with as It will. And upon surfacing, our
eyes reopen, we remember that we came here to render
such a sacrificial service to the lambs of God, and we
may entreat the Spirit within to guide us in service
to this one great honor, to this one great Cause.
Wiping those watery tears from our eyes, we may
refocus upon God, on seeking only the Truth in all our
experiences and so render meaningful service to the
Plan of human and world redemption.

If we should lose our way while diving down into our
personal issues, we may become buried in the murky
sands of the self. Our consciousness, therefore, via
our selfless devotion, must repeatedly rise again from
our inner sediment so that we are may always return to
a right focus upon God.

?Thy Will be done, not mine.?

Without such an earnest and selfless consecration,
there can be no true and permanent healing.

For all returning life there is an ebbing and a
flowing, a riding of the waves between
purgation/integration and greater service/communion.
The candidate for Liberation will continually and
vigilantly redirect his focus toward seeking out the
Truth in all his experiences, in reconsecrating
himself to the Divine and in emptying his grail to
serve as a clear instrument of the approaching Spirit.

So there is nothing to fear for the true of heart, but
only great rejoicing to come.
