Dear One Man Alone,

By coincidence, I recently wrote a post to someone regarding anger that might
be relevant to your situation.

Kundalini can work in two ways vis a vis anger--one, it can bring up
incredible anger from the subconscious. This is released in uncontrollable
bursts until it passes through this strange period. Quite a few list members
have gone through this upsetting stage. Two, it can melt anger away because
the underlying reasons for it become suddenly meaningless. When we become
part of the larger picture, the things that make us angry completely disap
pear. Our "selves," ideas and emotions become unimportant as there is no
longer anything to defend. ...

There is usually an underlying reason for our anger. Have you tried to
analyze what it is that sets you off? Why should a test of your IQ upset you
so. Why do you insist on havinig expectations, and what is it about your
expectations that when they are not met, make you angry? With many cases of
anger there is an underlying feeling of helplessness--of being unable to
solve a problem with logic and reason.

What kinds of things make you angry? What pushes your buttons? There are
good anger management web sites now. You might want to look into one or two
of them. A quick search on google located this one which looked pretty good,
although somewhat commercial.

Hormones often play a large part, too. An overload of testosterone can be
one of the causes of anger, just as people can become weepy without apparent
reason. I have long suspected that kundalini (among many other things!)
changes our hormonal balance.

The flipping from anger to tears are both fairly common with K awakening.
Our emotions become fragile and both of these outward expressions of emotions
are often simply "symptoms" of frustration. You may feel you should, with a
high intelligence, be able to control all aspects of your life. Kundalini
will make short shrift of this misconception. :))

Love, Hillary
