[Grandiose Delusions or Boddhisattva Mission? It Is What It Is...]

Dear lionessbleu, I love you. After my somewhat traumatic "fantasy," I was
feeling curious to go online to find some Ariel related material. You found
that one about the Lost Bride and saved me some time!
Now I understand some of the intensity of my feelings
in reaction to her sacrifice. Yawn!!! LOL, Crusty...
This is one of my favorite Disney movies.
Had I looked online before I entered into my fantasy,
I would have discovered that Sebastian was a crab, not a lobster!
Sebastion the crab in the movie was always red...
maybe because he was always yelling at Ariel for something.

I saw Crusty/Sebastian as a red lobster in my head; that was my basis of
reference. I turned Crusty into Sebastian because Sebastian loved Ariel.
He helped her to find her Prince and to convince her father that it was the
right thing to do. At the same time, I was afraid of Crusty's choice of DB,
an octopus. In the Little Mermaid, Ariel surrenders her beautiful singing
voice to the villainess, Ursula, who is an octopus, who promises to help her
defy her father and find her Prince, for a price. Despite all of these
frightening triggers, I posted to him anyway because my Imagination asked me
to. I try to do what I am told to do.

When Crusty responded with the reference to Sebastian the DAUPHIN, it
triggered an intense emotional response, to something which I perceived as a
symbol of
betrayal and disappointment. In researching the death penalty as I wrote my
book, I delved into Joan of Arc (1412?-1431) for awhile. Her public
execution stands notorious in the annals of history of the vile degradation
of public
execution.

She had been asked by God to fight to bring the French Dauphin to his
rightful crown. Dauphin is a name used to address the eldest son of the
King of France from 1349-1830.
What I did not know is that dauphin is also another name for dolphin...
I just looked it up. (blush)
If I knew that night, might have tamed down my "fantasy" response...

[Chaos or divine order? Fact or fantasy? Madness or mission? ]

Anyway, after the Dauphin was enthroned, the Dauphin rewarded Joan of Arc
by
abandonment and eventually "giving her up" to the English, who then tried
her and sentenced her to death...here is an excerpt of the death sentence:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Joan of Arc Sentence of Death

Final Sentence given before the People.
Wednesday, May 30th, towards 9 o'clock in the morning,....In the Name of the Lord, Amen.

At all times when the poisoned virus of heresy attaches itself with
persistence to a member of the
Church and transforms him into a member of Satan, extreme care should be
taken to watch that
the horrible contagion of this pernicious leprosy do not gain other parts of
the mystic Body of
Christ. The decision of the holy Fathers have willed that hardened heretics
should be separated
from the midst of the Just, so that to the great peril of others this
homicidal viper should not be
warmed in the bosom of pious Mother Church....-O, shame!-that, as the dog
returns again to his
vomit, so have you returned to your errors and crimes; and it had been
proven to us in a most
certain manner that you have renounced thy guilty inventions and thy errors
only in a lying
manner, not in a sincere and faithful spirit....

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

She was burned to the death. Sebastian the Dauphin.
Nothing but words to Crusty...nothing but demons to me.

Why? The souls who I will speak for will not be grateful. In fact, most of
them would kill me given the slightest opportunity. Also, there is a
certain danger to speaking out on certain subjects. So Crusty's innocent
choice of a play on words was like a knife into my heart. This is because I
harbor no illusion that I will be protected. Joan of Arc had believed that
she would be saved from the fire by God. She recanted the first time she
stood at the stake. After contemplation, she reassumed her heresy to the
Church and accepted her death, or was it her life? So the two symbols of
deceit and disappointment converged to feed my psychodrama fantasy frenzy.

To add to that, I am feeling all of the fear and burden of what is asked of
me. I have been on a break from writing. As I am nudged to get back on
track, I entertain the wish to be let off the hook, so to speak. I know that
will not happen. I will do what I am told to do. But there is a part of me
that just wishes I was not going into the Hell realm. So as I asked for
help in the Hell realm, I tried to live my fantasy to be let off the hook.
I figured the worst that would happen was that he would thrash her a bit and
tell her no. [Shrug!!!]

When the Claw ate that which represented the Little Mermaid, I was crushed.
Again, I had hidden behind a helpless child to protect my self.
I felt the shame of my cowardice.
Mystress, Lady Joyce is not going to be put on the chopping block again.
If I put her there, I am hiding. I am trying not to hide.
It is not for Lady Joyce to be my shield...
for She is my Sword.

As to my mission...>Mystress wrote:

>You violate the law, by seeking to change the world by changing what is
>outside of yourself. They are your >reflection. Your mirror.

No, Mystress, I would violate my sacred vow if I did not seek to do that
which I am Asked to Do...LOL :-)))

...As I journey to a place I call the Valley of the Shadow of the Death
Penalty,
I shall fear no evil, as I walk hand in hand with the Divine...
