There are three reasons these knuckleheads (yes, I can think of other
adjectives too!) keep building this sort of crap: Money, money and money.

Someone being creative can make those who believe they have no creative
ability quite uncomfortable. Everyone is creative. However, we are each
inclined to create different things. Somehow, we learned to value some
creations more than others. More specifically, it's a "like breeds like"
situation: Those people with money value those things that make them more
money. Therefore seeing the reward for certain types of creativity, we
learned our values from an external source; one rooted in the realm of
worldly desires. Thus we (the rhetorical "we" anyway) tend to judge our own
and other's creations by what they're worth in monetary terms.

If we learn to create for creations sake, then this preposterous method of
valueing and devalueing all creativity looses its appeal.

"Judge not, lest ye be judged"

If you want to learn how NOT to value things monetarily, go create something
beautiful and never show it to anyone.

No kidding, who got this bright idea to string up wires on poles everywhere
you look, I can barely find a place to watch the sunrise without have to look
at wires. Personally, I use solar power. My panels are hidden by from view
by trees and and I buried all my wiring.

But then I guess I'm judging someone else's creativity. (or lack thereof)
