I do not know why this is so but I will share a recent experience of mine.

I just returned recently from a tantric workshop with Margot Anand, a tantrika of over 40 years study and experience and a disciple of Osho.

I talked to her about my own kundalini. She said she had been observing me that weekend and she observed that my central channel was wide open from 1st chakra thru the crown. This means the kundalini energy runs through my body meeting no obstacles. I asked her then, "Well, then what? What's the goal after one is totally open." She was trying to tell me how to ground the kundalini ecstasy that I feel into my every day life. She suggested "lots of yoga, acupuncture, and Ayurveda."

She didn't think I was well grounded. I thought that odd because I am one of the most grounded people that I know, especially compared to everyone else out there. But because of my respect for her knowldege and experience I am listening and looking to see if there is someplace that could use the grounding.

You see, my k energy runs so strong that my body moves like a wild snake if I totally surrender to the movement of the energy. As a friend who observed me said, "Your head whips around like a rag doll."

Since that recent weekend my taste has turned back to what yoga calls saatvic foods...rice, fruits, veggies, beans, dairy, oatmeal...but mostly towards fruits and oatmeal. I am attracted to a dish called kitcheree that has ingredients like mung beans, basmati rice, cardamon, ginger, tumeric, ghee, mixed veggies. In the yogic life style it is referred to almost a perfect food and is used for healing body, mind, and spirit. I think I will make it today. Kitcheree is ayurvedically balanced in that it gives the body all six tastes in one meal with beneficial herbs and spices.

Hope that helps.
