    Hi Rich:

Yeah, I seem to be back in a writing mood again.. or a sending mood,
at least... lots of unfinished posts in my out box from the last few weeks.

I was actually supposed to be out of town this weekend, but Goddess
sent a blizzard, divine intervention! Not sure if I was supposed to brave
the blizzard and anyhow... but it is done.

So, an essay on karma and responsibility. With examples.

Example #1. I used to have a plumber friend, who joked that plumbers
can be stupid because they only need to know two things: shit flows
downhill and payday is on Friday.

With karma, shit flows up hill to where the buck stops. To the person
who is ultimately responsible, or who has taken on responsibility. Power,
ownership. Karma follows hierarchies. Humans are naturally hierarchical
beings... but we can choose what to serve.

Hierarchies. That is what it is with Gurus getting liver disease, and
why American presidents age about 12 years for every 4 year term.
Responsibility for what happens, what Is, flows to them, they are the
decision makers. Leadership.

They could escape a lot of it by obeying democracy, turning decisions
back to the people to decide... in the case of Gurus, giving responsibility
to the Divine. Being transparent.

Being a figurehead/vessel of the will of the people instead of an
autocratic dictator. Remember Reagan at Iran-contra and you will see how a
charismatic actor could be reduced to a senile old fool in the space of a
few years of misusing power.

Blame is also giving responsibility, power, ownership... Nobody can
decide how you feel, how you choose to respond to what Is, but you and
Goddess within you. If you blame someone else for how you feel, you are
giving them your divine power, making them be God for you. Giving them
ownership of your feelings. Instead of "Goddess take this", it is "take
that, you $^&*!!" Even if the blame is thinking they are evil, you are
still putting them on a pedestal, worshipping them by giving them your
attention, believing they are more powerful than you, they can control you.
Giving your power of faith to them instead of Goddess within you.

You will end up feeling helpless and frustrated, not God of your own life.

Additionally, you have set them up there as your idol for target
practice... blame is bombing someone with your karma. Like shooting black
magic arrows at them... and the karma feedback from that aggressive action
will make things worse... sliding down a deeper and deeper hole into
victimhood... not empowerment.

There is more to it.. what you have written is not wrong, it is a
perspective. Subtle shading on the meaning of responsibility, and
irresponsibility.

You can say it is irresponsible to give authority to ego, in terms of
"irresponsible" meaning reckless or foolish... but not in terms of
responsibility meaning being authority, power. The response of karma will
come anyways, but will Goddess have it handled or will ego be taking its
lumps? The universe responding, and showing you that your life is self
created. Being responsible is accepting the results of your actions. "I
attract that which occurs"

The one who is responsible, is the one the results of karmic action or
reaction will flow to.

There is co-creation. Life is easier when you surrender to letting the
wiser part of yourself make your decisions for you, but your choice on what
to focus on and believe creates the largest part of your experiences.

Giving anything the power to choose, the responsibility... and in turn,
the karma (action and reaction, good or bad) flows there also. Whether it
is "Goddess take this" or "waaah, he did it to me!"

    Goddess has it handled.

If you are making your own decisions instead of listening to Goddess
within yourself, then you are taking responsibility instead of surrendering
it. Karma follows responsibility, authority. You can have ego be
responsible, let it be your authority, or give Goddess the responsibility,
and "abide to the higher authority."

On a related note, I have a net friend whose sig file reads:

>Enlightenment is mere vanity, responsibility is the bedrock.

He is correct, in a way. When he encounters various astral beings, he
tells them "I am your Master", which gives him responsibility for them, and
the power to affect what they do.
Similarly, whenever I am drawn into some kind of astral, or archetypal
healing work, the beings always call me "Queen"... as in, "Queen of the
machine mind", "Orion Queen", "Queen of alien hybrids", yadda yadda... it
is a gift of responsibility, it gives me the power to change who they are
or what they do... or even, to change the past.

Blessings...
