My situation is somewhat similar to yours, except probably not as extreme.
Like you I'm almost always "on" and from time to time the energy increases to
overload proportions. Also like you, moving (in my case Hatha Yoga) helps
diffuse the energy. We differ in that I don't experience pain or fever,
(although I often experience heat flashes), but the energy zaps me into a
near state of paralysis which can be overwhelming and very hard to take.
Pleasure or pain? Sometimes it's not clear.

I'm not sure what people have found to help with pain. I suspect that
grounding exercises help, and perhaps anything that helps circulate the
energy is useful. Sometimes simply shaking the excess energy off the hands
can help.

Yeah! Doctors always say we are "depressed" "it's all in your mind" etc.
until researchers finally find a concrete "cause." :)) Alas, it will probably
take a good deal of time before doctors come up with a "You have Kundalini!"
diagnosis. :))

I think a number of things occur. One is that we gradually clear passages so
the energy has less to "work" on. This obviously makes the "symptoms"
decrease.
We also tend to "get used to" the energy and the sensations it causes.
We sometimes are able to learn to "translate" the symptoms into more
comforting sensations/interpretations.
And finally we devise methods (often individual by trial and error) to make
the symptoms more tolerable.

Others may have additional thoughts here!

I hope the discomfort eases for you! Pain is not something I tolerate well.

Love, Hillary
