Ok, I know this sounds trivial compared to what many of you (and I
myself at one time) are experiencing with symptoms of K. psychosis
and such, but it seems to be my main block right now -- driving.
Whenever I drive here in the Boston area (I used to be a taxi driver
here many years ago and probably aquired a bad attitude), someone
invariably does something to really piss me off and upset my peace.
I wind-up calling them "idiot" or some other curse under my breath.
If you've ever driven here, you probably know what I mean about
Boston drivers. They're unbelievable. They do things like:
o Make a left turn right in front of you, forcing you to slam on
your brakes to avoid an accident -- especially when you're stopped
at an intersection and the light first turns green.
o If they want to make a left-hand turn from a side street, they
pull out and block traffic in the near lane until they can find an
opening in the far lane.
o They block the intersections when they stop -- even thought there
are "Do not block Intersection" signs all over the place.
o They pass from left hand turn lanes, the shoulder, wherever they
can get by and cut you off.
o They constantly act aggressively. It's like a continuous game of
chicken.
I could go on and on, but you get the idea. It's anarchy on the
road -- full of rude, angry, and inconsiderate people -- young, old,
and inbetween alike. The problem is, the rudeness is just over-the-
top, and the anger is contageous.
I've found that the heart, the center of compassion, is the key for
Kundalini activation. When K. gets to that level, and the heart
opens-up with love and compassion for all, it's like the second-
stage of a rocket kicking-in, and K. shoots-up and achieves escape
velocity. But after driving around here, I find my heart has
hardened. It won't fully open-up.
Anyone have any suggestions about this? I find it difficult to feel
my love expand to encompass the drivers here. I feel more like
screaming, "You f&#^ing a&&hole"!
