Subject: [K-list] Thoughts/Beliefs = Manifestation?
From: Onlycycles

I am curious today on things that you have noticed as far as thoughts or
beliefs and how they manifest them selves into your spiritual life. It seems
to me that things are much easier to tackle when you believe in your
self..Something many people have noticed.

Say, someone thinks they can't bungie jump, so they don't allow them selves
to. Something thinks they have relationship troubles, so they always get
involved with someone who isn't their "type". These are more physical
occurrences.

Spiritually, the person who believes it is impossible to travel astrally is
probably less likely to be aware of their astral body, less likely to be
aware of the ventures they have already made. This kind of makes sense.

So if you simply tell your self you can do something, you can take that next
step, maybe you're bringing your awareness temporarily to the idea of
self-impowerment. You bring your awareness to that, usually, positive idea,
you give energy to that thought.

If thoughts, and judgments are projected towards others, and can effect their
lives-and if belief, or disbelief in projection can make all of the
difference..Then in a way thoughts are a bit like "magic".

Letters are symbols, correct? They stand for syllables, that stand can for a
word which is another kind of symbol. If you are drawing a more pagan symbol
for water, or you are saying the word "water" out loud..you are bringing your
focus to this element through a means of communication. My concerns are not so much if this is true, or false. In a sense it is
neither. I wonder though, how much of an impact thoughts have on our lives.
How did we learn to astral project? Because we thought that it was
possible...or was it already there before it was discovered?

Certainly, even if we do not believe in trucks, for example, that won't
change their place in this world. We did think them into existence though.
And certainly, people used to believe the world was flat in someplace, and
that didn't make the world any less round...

What about for our selves though? Makes me think of-ah I can't think right
now-Someone recently posted about them-ah-Yanno! When scientists give one
test group the real deal, and the other a sugar pill? You know what I'm
talking about.. Sometimes the fake pills do better than the real thing.

I'll try an experiment. I'll tell myself, I'll try to get all of my selves to
simply know that next week I'll get a wonderful surprise. I'll get myself to
believe it. Wholly, with no doubt about this somewhat unknown, and see if it
works out.

Ah–Oh yes, thats right, I remember. With things like this, it is best to say
it once-know it once, and forget it-not to dwell on it or your mind might
have time to reason it out. It is forgotten.
