it could be just that, a reflection. i personally think there is more to it.
but really, there is no way to compare as there aren't really any photos of
a decarnated body's eyes. would the reflection still be as distinct? would
there be any reflection at all?

and hypothetically speaking (i am not trying to gross anybody out here), if
a lifeless body with eyes open were lain next to a person with eyes open
anyone would be able to tell instantly which was alive and which was empty
just by looking into the eyes.

there must be something about the eyes that gives us information, maybe a
lot of it is subconscious information. maybe, even though it is not clearly
visible, it is the connection of light that tells us. just like a camera's
flash connects with the light in our eyes...
