"Krishna Das has sold out venues & work shops around
the country consistently attracting capacity crowds.
His last appearance in NY earlier this year at the
Angel Orensanz Center attracted a 700 plus crowd of
yogis, devotees, curious folk & members of the
community alike. His current album 'Breath of The
Heart' was engineered by acclaimed producer Rick Rubin
& his past two albums have included musical guests
such as Sting & many others.

Krishna Das has been recording albums of traditional
Indian chants & song for the past 5 years but has been
on a spiritual journey his entire life. He has been at
the forefront of utilizing western melodic
sensibilities in Hindu kirtan (chanting) & satsang
while maintaining its traditional base & structure &
is a master of infusing the Indian tradition w/modern
influences. While staying true to the path of Bhakti
or Devotional Yoga, his music is energized w/modern
grooves & melodies to create soulful chanting that is
eminently accessible to western hearts. Influential
spiritual leader Ram Dass describes Krishna Das as "an
example of someone whose heartsongs open the channels
to God."

Joining Krishna Das is his friend Ma Chetan Jyoti.
Born in Toronto, Chetan Jyoti Ma has lived in India
for 30yrs & lives in Rishikesh by the River Ganga
where she sits on the roof of her small Ashram &
offers her songs of devotion to her Mother, The Ganga.
