Hey, Kristena,
I've had that happen, especially while walking..the patterns in the
pavement, man-hole covers, things on the sidewalk. I am able to pull myself
away (with difficulty) once I realize I'm doing it again and have to get to
an appointment or something. I do zone out while talking to people though,
which can be annoying to them. If they know about my k, I apologize and tell
them what caught my attention, then try to listen again. ;)
