I've just got onto the shortlist of a TV drama production company looking for new writers, and to get to interview I have to come up with ideas and script for .... wait for it... a teenage girl who develops psychic powers. Up my street or what??!

But having no direct experience of 'the powers' I'd welcome any of your ideas, experiences, anecdotes - (especially anything that might translate televisually) - to throw into the ideas melting pot.
