Dear Posts,
Thanks a lot for your responses. What I forgot to mention is, while doing the Sahaja Yoga meditation is that we chanted mantrams, where, as i understand there's a mantram for each chakra with a 'deity' representing each. (i.e. Sri Ganesha for Root, Sri Jagadamba for heart, and so on up to all 7 chakras). After the mantram and paying attention to the crown chakras, i felt a kind of ecstasy where it's just 'empty', intense, and 'high' (like pot experience :)) I could no longer feel my body, or if there was a body, and it seems like i'm flying, flipping over and no gravity. I could not see anything, i don't have an active Ajna Chakra.

I became aware that this mantram chanting, which includes Deities names is basically callling out for the associated entities (deities are entities too, aren't they? or i'm wrong on this...) for help. And that scares me, since i know we have to be free of entities or thought forms in order to advance. And up from that point, i became more confused ever since. Duality seems to get a better hold of me, because on one side i still want to experience the 'bliss', but yet afraid to do the practice.

Is it the entities or me which bring the sensations? That really is the problem.

I'm thinking if there's anyone who would take me up the path, that someone is going to be me.

What is your opinion on this? I'm open to any suggestions.
I'm sorry if this is a too personal problem, since we're all on the same quest i figure wouldn't hurt to ask ;)

PS. Keith, thanks for the vibration...

love,
arif

  Dear Arif,

John Selby in his "Kundalini Awakening, A Gentle Guide to Chakra Activation" likes a balanced approach. He says "At this point in history it is ecologically as well as spiritually important that we break free of both the Hindu and Christian attitudes that judge the lowly reality of the Earth as negative...and that revere only heavenly, nonearthly dimensions of consciousness...So the Root Chakra, which provides us with our connection to Mother Earth at a most primal level, should be held as equal to the Crown Chakra."
