All,

Regarding my "control freak" evaluation by the brain test...I think I understand
why the results came out as they did. Here's a snip from a conversation I had
offline with someone else on the list....

-->

I realized why the test came out that way, though. I have a very interesting
habit of letting my organized, rational self come out whenever I am being
"tested". What I mean is my creative side gives way to my rational side, and
the dominant rational side expresses itself like it's the only kid on the
block. So I *should* register as rational and organized, even tho much of me
is completely the opposite. There is so much about me that is raw, unbridled
creativity but in my life there is so little room to exercise it. I have to
periodically reserve time to be creative and spontaneous or I get really
off-balance.

I do rely on my auditory sense more than my visual sense, though. My visual
sense tends to consume me...visual stimuli go straight to the subconscious,
bypassing everything else, and consuming all my attention. It's a pretty freaky
thing when it happens. While it makes me a better poet or artist, it sure
messes with my ability to manage the attention being used by that particular
"channel". So when I use my visual sense, I have to let the others go.

Hope this makes some sense.

It's amazing how the rational and emotional, active and reactive, etc...how
these things emerge, play out, and then fall back into the deep black
unconscious. I've been observing it in myself for years....kind of fun and
leads to some incredible self-discoveries.

Steve
