Hi Dan,

As you already gnow, the concept of lucid dreaming has been around probably
forever under different naymes. I like the term "lucid dreaming" because the
very notion of lucidity pleases me in consideration of the various
accusations implying fuzzy thinking (and more detrimental naymes) has been
aimed at K aware folks. ;-)

Presently I enter lucidity almost nightly and occasionally realize the
possibilities inherent within that "cool breeze/lightness of being" stage.
This state has only been a regular feature of my dream life for about the
last year, and have not developed the comfort necessary to participate with
decisiveness except on rare occasions. The problem for me is recognizing in
the specious present that I actually have volition in this state... in real
time!

I think it is possible for an adept to come and present me with reminders
that such is possible. Susan has spoken of this (I think) in the way she
writes of going to others in her dream states. Perhaps she can validify
this... or not.

Eventually, even without the intercession of another more masterful than I,
the possibility that my gnowing that volition exists in this state is coming
down the pike for me... I hope!

felix
