Hi there-

I am new to the list- and I really have enjoyed reading it for the last
couple of days.

A brief intro about me... I live in Santa Cruz CA; was a grad student in
Jungian psychology and am taking time off; love Star Trek Voyager (the
writers of the show were heavily into Jung; heard about a thing called Atman
and Brahman ten years ago and how they were one and the same, and have never
been the same since!; struggle with depression and mood swings; have
spontaneous periods of bliss lasting from a few seconds to five or ten
minutes (interestingly enough- it often happens when I am with groups of
people!); have intense dreams- finally starting to learn to work with them;
deeply engaged in a process called soulcollage where you make your own tarot
cards; would cut off my left foot to experience "the prescence" all the
time; looking for ways to integrate community and Spirit; believe physical
immortality is possible; likes video games.

I am sort of new to all of this- so when I can- I will offer what support I
can. I can say that I am really "skilled" (if that is the word) at being
with people while they are in crisis or needing emotional support- so if
anyone wants to write me around those issues, I am here. :)

I have a few questions- and would maybe like to dailogue with some about the
answers- please email the list with an answer and let me know if you would
be open to talk more about them.

:)

Seth's top four questions:
1)Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about the relationship
between Marijuanna and K?
2)Does anyone out there believe it is possible to experience bliss,
awareness, happiness or joy almost all of the time?
3)Does anyone have experience with really living a dedicated sadhana- like 8
hours+ a day while living "in the world?" I am interested in moving towards
a more "monk-like" lifestyle- doing periods of silence, fasting, lots of
meditation- but not going to a monastery. For people who have experienced
this type of lifestyle- any thoughts or experiences.
4)I am experiencing a "breathy" sensation in my upper chest- it feels like
there is... I don't know- an alive breath in my chest... I don't know how
else it describe it- a warmth that feels Oxygeon-like... :) Any similare
experiences.

be well all- my prayers go out to all of us as we strive to integrate what
we are experiencing and discovering.

feeling a lot for love and gratitude to know there are others out there on a
similar path,

be well,

love,

Seth
