Subject: [K-list] Approach to others
From: Nick Masters

On 2001/09/14 07:05, Nick Masters posted thus to the K-list:

I am curious how others approach those not on a perceived spiritual path. I have found that many are starving for knowledge such as can be found from the many
members of this list server. Having gone through many personal realizations it is sometimes humorous and sometimes heart-wrenching to see others struggle needlessly in
their daily lives. While I have chosen a path of non-intervention, unless asked, I have found myself giving guidance often. Sometimes it's the planting of a seed, a
thought, to see how it will grow within them. Other times it is a flat out attack on what I perceive as their negative thoughts that are holding them down. Sometimes I
wonder if I relay too much information and other times if I have missed an opportunity. Since I am truly feeling a deeper love for all as the days go one to the next, I am
also feeling a deeper responsibility to give guidance. Has anyone come up with approaches that are effective or particular thoughts that have proven useful seeds? I
can say that introversion or causing one to think too much on their supposed faults is negative leads in the other direction. I am looking for those thoughts that lead to
an enlightened thinking of "hmmm, I hadn't thought of that before".

As an example, I have always had strong math skills. Having taking classes up to Calculus all A's, I often find difficulty relating to those that are trying to grasp algebra.
It's is just plain obvious to me. I didn't struggle with the concepts like they are. I am wondering if that is true on the spiritual side as well. So I wonder if in relating my
message if it is too high a level for others.

with peace and love for all,
Nick
