How wild.... last Saturday I went down to the city (chicago) to hear Patti
perform at the 'Rock the River' fest. (I believe this was the last leg of
her tour) And as was the case in CA, there were no complaints.. just a lot
of appreciation and an atmosphere of togetherness.

Re: OBE's... this has been pretty much in the forefront as of late... I've
had them on and off since I was in my late teens/early twenties, but didn't
quite know what they were then... the night before last, my daughter (16)
experienced her first and burst into my bedroom in a near state of
hysteria... she was listening to a 'radio head' CD and prior to sleep and
went into a hypnogogic state complete with hypnogogic hallucinations. It
provided a good lead for a discussion into altered states of
consciousnesses. ;)
