Subject: [K-list] Codependency, Transferrence, Projections and Dumping
From: Christopher Wynter

On 2001/05/30 19:33, Christopher Wynter posted thus to the K-list:

The unconscious need of the illusory mind
(the normal thinking mind used in day to day living)
is to fill in the emptiness.

Just as the liver sends signals to the brain
when it has nothing to do, and the brain responds
by invoking "hunger"

and you shut the brain up by going and getting a feed ..

so the mind works the same in all relationships
according to its perception of emptiness.

For example ..

a child is conceived .. then born,
to fulfill the parent's perception of emptiness.

In utero, the projection on the child
 is the mother's perception
of how the presence of the growing fetus
 fulfills her inner emptiness

and so, the child is born and grows up,
continually mirroring back to the mother,
a reflection of her own emptiness ..

if it is male, it may be a disappointment ..
if it is female, the child has an even greater responsibility
 thrust upon it.

In its relationship to both parents,

the child may be continually defined and defiled
according to what will satisfy the parental emptiness

 and thus becomes the manifestation
of the parents unfulfilled inner needs.

because they have sucked out of the child
all they can to fulfill their own sense of lack.

and every time the child seeks to fill its own emptiness
by whatever means, the parent cannot stand the fact that
its fulfillment is being taken away from her

("after all I've ever done for you")

and disciplinary steps or drugs are resorted to so that
the child continues to fulfill the parent's definition of lack.

This, for many, is the Love of a parent for a child ..

[ and, of course, as the child grows up and no longer fulfills
the parental lack, (especially if something else has replaced it)
it (the child) has to find some other sensory input to replace
the parental draining of its lifeforce to which it has become
accustomed ]

The same applies throughout life ..
in every relationship ..

and all of the emotions experiences
 are merely based on
whether the other person, or object
satisfies your own self sense of emptiness

 according to your preconceptions
of how you believe they should be fulfilled..

Thus external religion and God
is merely an illusion
to fill your own perception of emptiness of Self ..

Tantra is the re-union with that Self

and the experience of Kundalini or Spiritual Emergence
is the inner reversal of your definition of emptiness
as these past beliefs are released from the body
