Ah Wim,

    Yup, it seems reality (whatever that is) can not be reduced to a
multiple choice poll and any discussion of this really needs to be in the
form of an essay.

    I liked your relatively non-attached words - they spoke to the wonder
and majesty of real life, as we can perceive it - or not.

    I also found it impossible to really answer the poll - all, or none of
the options, seemed to be viable and to summarize some of what i believe -
But then my beliefs on reality change all of the time. I do not wrap myself
in a prefabricated construction. How do we determine what is real, what is
reality - how does one understand the surreal ??-

 Also it seems that some of the options represent a major theme of what is
reality to many. So, in that sense is that not part of reality - if more
than two people are joined in a set of beliefs, does it take on a new life
of its own - people create their own reality. But this is the difference
between your 'Grand Reality' and your 'Small Individual Reality' - or
perhaps actually represents a further grouping - "group reality". So
there are groups that hold each of the belief structures that the choices
are meant to delineate. For that group, that option represents a reality -
what their minds hold as 'truth'.

   But the choices were meant to differentiate instead of integrate. Some
aspects of life are predetermined, others are open to free will - DNA plays
a major role - but is not everything - we are just holograms on a
holodeck - perhaps but what is the play - each POV has a kernel of truth.

    So the issue is to take the kernel behind each of these viewpoints and
use that to create an integrated collage. Can we do this? As hu-mans,
engineered lifeforms, do we have a right to become god like? Or perhaps to
recover our divinity from genetic corruption. Are we able to determine
what is the 'Grand Reality' or should we be content to believe a corrupted
text a garbled message or words meant to manipulate.

    I have been spending some time reading:

 "The Cosmic Serpent - DNA and the Origins of Knowledge" by Jeremy
Narby;
 "The Division of Consciousness - The Secret Afterlife of the Human
Psyche" by Peter Novak;
 "DMT: The Spirit Molecule" by Strassman;
 "Breaking the Godspell" by Neil Freer.

    Do we not absorb and integrate? We sift through what others have found
and believe and compare these views (the 'other') with what we see or
perceive on our own shamanic ventures through the veil (the 'I'). Some
aspects do not resonate with us, and we set the puzzle piece down, only to
pick it up years later to twist it around and say 'ok, what do i do with
this piece'.

We may not totally create our reality - but we need to explore and
explain and to put all of the pieces of the puzzle together.

    Is there an end game to this - maybe not, but i sense major transitions
and certainly our collective sense of reality is modified and shifts.

    And yes - Jesus had to go through the temptation in the desert, as did
others before and as we do now - do we make the same choices ? what is
reality?

    Context, structure and meaning - the meaning must follow from the
context, given the applicable structure - as we push layers and layers of
obfuscation away to try to find the meaning - the reality -

and yes this article caught my eye:

"Schizophrenia 'helped the ascent of man'
Scientist says gene mutation is key to genius and despair"

and so our search for the nature of our reality
continues.......................................................

Peace and balance from the reflecting Well,
Llewellyn -
