Subject: Re: [K-list] need some positive born of experience
From: Christopher Wynter

On 2001/03/04 19:32, Christopher Wynter posted thus to the K-list:

There is night and there is day ..
day is not attached to day
and night is not attached to night

each gives way to the other as surely as the
incoming tide gives way to the outgoing tide

just as surely as the in-breath
gives away to the out breath

  neither has any attachment ..

And, so, you have a choice.

Yesterday you had a feeling
  and today, yesterday's feeling
   gave way to todays feeling

Did you have the feeling
or does the feeling has you.

The Compassionate Buddha recognises and honours
the tides and the times as the passing cycles of nature
   and does not judge.

The incoming tide experiences in-flow
The out going tide experiences out-flow

  At the point in between,
there is full or there is empty.

If you hold onto empty, there can be no in-flow
  and no full ..

It is, of course your choice ..
but if you hold on to empty,
then empty will have you ..

The experiences of full and empty, like other patterns
flow daily through our lives ..

just as the experience you are now having
you have had before .. and before that ..

If you find the origin of holding on to death as an outcome
then empty can experience in-flow ..
and you can experience the flow of the Tao

   This is my experience
