A K. awakening precisely does that: confrontation with the contents
of the mind and "burning its content, the tendencies" (karma).

familiar to me as it looks like the process I (and probably many others)
seem to be in at the moment. I described it to myself as a burning process.
Seemingly contradictory thinking patterns are seen and fall away immediately
followed by a strong flowing tingling feeling throughout the body and a sort
of arriving at a peaceful center (that can not be located).
