Naw. I never thought about it that way at all, and when I found out
from people that I actually had an awakening, and not some problem in
the brain, it was too late for me to even be concerned with it. (It
would have been different if I knew it was a kundalini issue earlier,
but therapist or someone else not well-versed in it disagreed with me.)

Interesting, though. . . it seems like the image presented in the media
in the U.S. up 'til recently was that only these Anglo-Saxon folks and
Indians being associated with such experiences. When I started watching
certain episodes of "Walker, Texas Ranger", that's when I realized that
people are going beyond that "establishment" image: the Texas Ranger
Cordell Walker character is half-Cherokee.

So, in a way, I feel somewhat more comfortable with it, and don't feel
like there's some kind of "superiority"/"inferiority" thing going on
(especially when I was trying to figure out the real deal behind a
so-called "Great White Brotherhood" a few years ago). I would feel
better, though, if I could admit to a Catholic my experiences and not
have to worry about what happens next (not any of you on the list, but
someone in person).

The greatest change with me did not come because of the kundalini (it
came when I didn't even realize it), but because of how I see things
now. Because of a few folks who could tell me the truth, I can go about
my business without so much guilt and other unnecessary things. . .
