Hello everyone:
I am new to the K experience which has been ongoing for the last 3
1/2 months. I am not new to the concept, however I did not believe
that such an experience would happen to me. I read numerous books and
articles on Kundalini during my younger years(early twenties) and
practiced meditation in a group setting back in the mid seventies for
about two years.I read most of Gopi Krishna's books regarding his
experiences and was fortunate enough to meet him(1977) and listen to
a number discussions he gave in India to the group I was involved
with. I left the group and got on with my life getting married and
raising a family. I continued to take an interest in spiritual
writings but only meditated occasinally to relieve stress.

Now I have come to this point in my life where everything has changed
and I am at a point of asking myself where do I go from here? I have
managed to come to terms that K is real(Acceptance) and that I am
going to have to deal with it and some how intergrate it into my
life. The question is how? The energy has just recently "smoothed"
and I have been able to fuction much more clearly at work and at home
without having the energy constantly in my head making me at
sometimes unable to speak without mumbling my words and the constant
pressure of the energy expanding or stretching my brain it seems.I
can clearly focus now on the outside world however the energy is
always in my head and my heart chakras.

I now have come to a point as to whats next? Do I go out and seek
a guru, join an ashram, start meditating(which have to a limited
point, I had to stop for a while because I found it accentuated the
energy)focus on chakras, stop eating meat, stop having sex or just watch
and feel what is happening inside me.

I feel like "a babe in the woods" not knowing what to do or where to
go.I would appreciate veterans like yourselves that have gone through
the process and are continuing with the journey as to your experience
and advice on the matter.

P.S. Does having an active K also have an effect on your spouse? My
wife began to experience stirrings and activity(1 month ago) which
are ongoing today. They were much gentler at the start however they
are becoming more pronounced.

with regards
Barry
