thank you for the scoop on dr. turner. for me, someone whose first grand
experience with kundalini (if it was that - i still won't let myself fully
accept that it was, or at least, my parents and the psychiatric profession
don't support me seeing it that way) was a result of a fast and seeking a
vision of what to do with 20 years of education, but resulted in
hospitalization, drugging, and labeling instead, having one of 'them', a
psychiatrist, tell me that there can be union of me and god and kundalini
and mania, would be helpful, even decisive.

A terrible sentence, but a omnipresent thought.

Hi Geoff,

kundalini energies. I tend to disagree,>>

I actually do think all psychic phenomena are a result of shakti in the
nervous system. I think I've had this demonstrated on myself again and
again
- the life-energy or kundalini or whatever we might want to call it,
actually
produces all phenomena and manifestations whithin consciousness. Even when
the energy is dormant and we'd consider ourselves to be just "normal"
humans,
it's still life energy that produces our thoughts and emotions and all the
other aspects of the psyche.

Active kundalini just seems to amplify this process. Depending on which
chakra and aspect of consciousness the energy is activating, there might be
psychic phenomena corresponding to that particular vibration.

Hmm, I don't want to sound too sure here though, beyond all attempts to
explain and define the nature of consciousness it's still pretty much
perfectly mysterious ! :)

You asked about Robert Turner - I have an address he gave me a couple of
years back, you might want to try that.

1719 Union Street, San Francisco - Phone: 415-292.44.04

Take care

Michael
