Mark,
Nice to see some explanation to where these stories come from.
It was not Lobster who wrote what you quoted above, I did and I guess I got
the message by now that it is not a very good idea to drill a hole in the
head. (Which I had already suspected was the case)
The reason this story fascinated me so much is not the actual drilling but
the descriptions of these "etheric membranes".
I have been dealing with inner sounds for some time now and the best
explanation I've come across is the one with these etheric membranes that
will start to oscillate. At first I saw this humming sound as a very good
sign and I slowly changed my opinion and now I see it as a sign of imbalance
where the energy cannot flow freely. Somehow these membranes provide a
reasonable explanation for these sounds.
