Some of you may be noticing that you're not getting all the posts to the list
in your mail. The last four or so of my own posts have not yet appeared in
my mail -- even ones I sent yesterday. The only way I know they made it to
the list is when someone else replies to them on list (or lurkers,
privately). They seem to be coming up in an erratic order in my mail too --
some newer ones are appearing before older dated ones. Anyway, someone from
another list said that a bug has developed on egroups "causing slow downloads
and weird characters to be displayed in messages sent through egroups." You
may have noticed yesterday that the ads at the bottoms of the posts were in
Japanese characters -- this was part of the snafu. The link to these ads was
apparently to the egroups site in Japan. More Solstice/Moon madness...
