You would not have heard the Buddha say that in those words. He also talked
about illusion... which is connected with suffering... anyway I won't say
too much about that, it is complex. Ppl. on the list know where that would
lead to. You could read in the digests some posts to El and find out. Mind
you, I'm somewhat radical so do not expect consolation, look for new
insights... look for a new viewpoint... do not entrench yourself now.
This list employs acts of kindness... that is Buddhist as well...
I think this moment is a very important moment in your life....
transform.... transform... transform.
Dear Isadora, see if you can transform some of your most dear (and fearful)
thoughts into freedom and take what some correspondents write seriously.
That might be why you are on the list...
BTW, I'm not in favour of your husband giving up his job... but there maybe
a different way for him to go about it. Insurance is for fearful ppl. so
that they will have less fear eventually... Ppl. who just bought insurance
need "after-care" so that at some point they can cancel that insurance....
In the meantime as the after-care takes place they could be insured... That
is it went in my life... Thanks to my company's insurance company I could
actually spend several years at home to work through my tribulations. Now
there is no insurance in sight except for that pretty OK Canadian and
British Columbian healthcare system .
