Man! (Woman!) I am still thinking about the swearing.
And I ask myself why? And I answer myself (don't tell the psychiatrist's I answer myself)
I have had a huge guilt complex that was so easily triggered! And I thought that if I were to be spiritual, or good enough, or something, that I would never swear, never drink, never be mad at anyone... ugh! Can you imagine?! Hell on earth!
So I couldn't integrate all of it. I would go through streaks of going to church all the time and being "good", and then go through streaks of partying till 2:30 am every weekend.
(Yeah, I'm kind of lame that way; I missed all the fun because it happened after 3:00 am, sigh) either/or.
A breakthrough came from an Oprah show; yes, my name is Karen, and I sometimes watch Oprah. They were talking shoes, and Oprah said, "Yes I am spiritual AND I love shoes." simple. So, I am spiritual AND irreverent.

Someone who figured this out faster than most people do called me a spiritual smartass. I like it! I thought, that's it!

Anyway, I was thinking there should be a list for spiritual people who like to swear and be irreverent. LOL or irrelevant - or both.

Perhaps it would get old fast, perhaps not...

I reread Percyval's post with the *bad* words in it, and chuckled again at it.
That may be a sure sign something is wrong with it; I'm enjoying it way too much, and I KNOW that having too much fun is BAD.
Oh shit, Percyval, I think you shook something loose in me.
