Ok, David, you're good at one-upmanship and we could keep at it... but I'd
cheat by veering into a comedy routine. I wasn't taking you on just to arm
wrestle, email style. I'm really trying to get clarity on a lot of this for
my own benefit. I get seduced into taking certain uncomfortable, emotionally
charged issues to an allegedly "higher" level -- a channel switch on
realities, as you say. Sometimes this is what I need to do, but it easily
becomes a self-deluded avoidance maneuver that blocks my growth... a way of
imagining I've transcended something or got something figured out when all
I've really done is bury it.

Need is an emotionally difficult issue for me and for most of us. Yeah, I
can philosophically flip channels to the place where need is illusory and El
is illusory. I've experienced that channel flip directly on occasion. You
seem to be saying, "It's the only show worth watching, stay tuned." I'm
learning that ALL the channels are worth watching/living on their own ground.
 Maybe not so for you. (Gotta get yourself some 3-D glasses-- makes the
stuff on the other channels look hella kewel.)
