Yes, on a selfish level. This is ok. But growth does not end with the personal.
There is a deeper understanding and experience that reveals we are everyone.

Depends what your time frame is.
For some, what you refer to as a 'lifetime' is but the blink of an I.

I disagree. You need to understand that this is your understanding and does not
apply
to those who are not limited by it.

Neediness is fear.
But we grow. We heal. Fear can be 'transformed'.
