Dear List,

Since this is a general question, I thought I would post it to the list as
well:

<< snip>I have experienced (and can still remember vividly) all the types of
dreams that you mentioned, with the exception of fire.... though, I have had
dreams of tooth loss. While I haven't had one of these in a while, they
usually left me feeling quite disturbed/uneasy. Can you elaborate on the
significance of tooth loss?

Teeth are related to Saturn in that all hard things are ruled by this planet.
Also, the common symbol for Saturn is a triangle pointing upward, or the
so-called triangle of fire. The message - in all hard things (ie.matter) is
the secret fire. In yoga the triangle in the earth square of the base chakra
represents this idea quite well. That is also why in certain yoga schools,
those that use planetary correspondances for the chakras and not the
Elemental ones, Saturn is placed at the base of the spine. The fim
foundation with its secret fire within that when released purges us of
impurity on all levels.

That is why a 'magus' is not only a master of fire (origin of the word is
'magi' the 'fire worshippers' of old Persia), as well as a master of the
forces of creation (saturn) according to the Tree of Life.

Also, Saturn rules karma (cause and effect) thus, as we seek to climb a path,
it reacts to our desires and places in our way those experiences that will
strengthen/purify (they are the same in alchemy, as impurity is weakness) us
via natures tool of fire. The loss is symbolic of our sacrafice..or 'sacra
feces' (holy shit) getting rid of what we don't need. Feces while a waste
product is also a fuel and fertilizer for new activities.

Fire represents the highest 'element' of a sub-path before going on to the
next level,
(ie.Earth) and starting over again. (earth-water-air-fire, with quintessence
on occasion.)

Through mastery of fire we defacto master the other elements, hence its
supreme importance in alchemical, qabalisitc, and yoga/tantric work.

I hope this answers your question.

Sincerely,
