The ego is a structure that allows for the illusion of free will. Eden's
apple. Knowledge of good and evil.. but that knowledge is a judgment of
ego. We cannot see all the ripples of any action, to know the long term
effects.
Generally, the free will choices of ego are the opposite of faith,
"Goddess has it handled". Surrendering free will, allows decisions to be
made by the infinite wisdom of cosmic consciousness, instead of the "monkey
flying the space shuttle" effect of the decisions made on the basis of
limited input that the ego-mind can absorb. GIGO.

Hmm.. the expansion effect is the separation of the ego mind dissolving
into the greater power of the unconscious, which at it's deepest level is
the collective: cosmic consciousness.
Think of ego as a balloon, the rubber of the balloon is separation from
the atmosphere. The balloon can only expand so much, and no matter how big
it gets, it is still separate from the rest of the atmosphere. When the
rubber bursts, the separation is removed and the air inside the balloon
returns to the whole. In that way, there is no longer an 9inside and
outside to the balloon. Take the torn balloon and flatten it on the ground,
and it is "holding" the atmosphere..
It is like the metaphor of trying to hold the ocean in a sieve.. the way
to do it, is to toss the sieve into the ocean. Immersion.

Not necessarily. Not everyone is born to become enlightened, some
folks come in to play the game of duality thru to the end, without looking
for the exit. The purpose of life, IMO, is experiences. Goddess doesn't
judge, all experiences have value, because it is all part of the limitless
manifestation of infinite creation.

Individuation usually begins at age 2.. learning to say "no" and
toilet training making you think you are no longer perfect as you are.
Learning that some behaviors get a bigger love-reward than other behaviors.
That is when we begin to grow the social mask of ego, that tells us we need
to act differently than we feel, to get love and approval.
Growing an ego is an important part of socialization. It is how we
learn the social behaviors that are part of Tribal existence. Many
aboriginal cultures kill the child ego structure, as part of the rituals
defining the end of childhood and the entrance to adulthood. The ego has
served it's purpose, as a learning tool of socialization, and is dismantled
in ritual, and the newborn adult is sent on 3 days solo visionquest to
bring forth a vision from the unconscious, which will provide the adult
name and life-purpose.

Bad is a judgment of ego. It depends on your goals. If you want to
play the duality game, then you need to have an ego. If you want to become
enlightened, then you need to surrender free will to Divine Will.
From the highest perspective, there is nothing that happens that is not
Divine Will. Goddess tempts your ego with carrots and pokes your behind
with fear, to get you to where you need to be, to fulfill your soul choices
for this lifetime. Your free will is an illusion of separation from Divine
Will. Divine Will, IS... and free will is Goddess' law.
Where do your thoughts come from? They bubble up from the unconscious,
which is not separate from Goddess. The difference is, whether you are
blindly prodded along like a donkey, in the polarity-space of love and
fear, or whether you have a silent, fearless mind that is at peace.

>No ego and we'd be flaked out under a tree with stupid grins
>as our body starves or not.
LOL!! not exactly.. that does happen to some yogis, but generally
speaking, the body mind has it's own intelligence. Without free will, you
become a manifestation of Divine Will.. Goddess made us, so She could have
experiences of sharing love.
A Zen Master is egoless, but Goddess moves him to eat and sleep and act
in "service to other". Chop wood, carry water. You still go on with your
life, but the difference is of perceptions.
Without the separation of ego, life becomes a love affair with All that
is. You are not locked up in a prison of mind, and limited to ordinary
sensory input.
The water speaks to you of what it is like to be a glacier, or a cloud,
the wood tells stories of wind and sunshine, and hearing the stories, in
unity you become that.. you are all that is, but filtered thru the lens of
linearity, of experiencing unity with the vibrational information of the
things you encounter.
Blessings!!
