  Hi there,

I'd like to comment on these two thoughts here.

(1) You're right when you say it's probably a combination of motives. But the
part which says 'to find a constructive expression of my sadness and compassion'
resonated the most.

(2) That's true. And it implies (somewhat indirectly) that in order to give love
to others, one must start by loving oneself first. Which is also about coming
clear with your darker side and surrendering.
