Nice to have you back again Susan. I have not followed this conversation and
this is not entirely in context but wanted to say the following. (I promise not
to write anything on food or contribute to a food fight). In the traditional
yogic view, a primarily vegan diet or a raw fruits/vegetables diet supplemented
with sprouted or cooked legumes and some grains is a wholesome, nourishing, and
a cleansing one.

Many people evidently feel that they need animal protein. Organic eggs might be
considered by such people instead of meat or fish as they supply good quality
protein.

Second, mangoes and dates are a good source of natural sugar for those like
myself who have a sweet tooth.

Diet of course must be suited to each individual according to their
psychological and physical needs.
