Hi Kim,

Yes, good point! :) I forgot this! Thanks for reminding me of what I used
to know! :) Mind if I take it further?
 
So I guess the desire is fed by the result, thus the desire is linked ever
stronger to the result. Whatever generates the feedback loop. And it
doesn't even have to make logical sense: look at phobias, or philias.

Similarly, aversion therapy is a covering over of the desire, not the
removal of it. Behaviourists found they didn't extinguish behaviours with
behavioural techniques, they generated new behaviours. All was a learning.
So perhaps we are better served to understand the learning mechanism and
the root of a desire, rather than condemn the actions?
