Why are you making it personal, Tony? You made some all encompassing
statements that I disagreed with. You preached what is "right", and I
suggested you apply the preachings, to yourself.
I'm the list Mystress, Tony. In the guidelines is a suggestion to have
respect for other paths, and that every path is right, for the person on
it. You abused the list when they didn't worship Sai Baba as you did, then
you did it again when they wouldn't agree to scorn him as you did. Now you
are declaring Osho a fraud, apparently as some kind of personal mission.
I may not like the Pope, but I've never said he is a fraud. I've never
said nobody should follow Sai Baba, either.. if people want to follow him,
then they can. If they start to suggest *everybody* should, then I'll step
in.
Osho preaches fulfillment of desires. The Pagan belief is that life is
a gift of Goddess, to be celebrated by Acts of Love and Pleasure. There are
many paths, many beliefs, and declaring a religous leader is a fraud simply
because you don't agree with them, is not respectful.

Well, by making the judgments you do, you are declaring exactly that.
That you know better than they do.

Addictions and desires are not the same thing. An addict can come to
loathe the substance they are addicted to. They may *desire* to give up the
addiction, but the addiction rules them. Desire can come from Goddess, as
in the desire to "follow your bliss". Desire is a kind of love.

That's not true, in my experience. Take the example of a Mother who
catches her child smoking, and makes them smoke the whole pack until they
barf. One example, but there are many.

You think you are wise enough, to judge a Guru from a fraud? Just
because you do not agree with their actions or teachings? That's religous
predjudice, Tony. Respect the list guidelines.

You don't bash them, because you agree with them. Anyone you do not
agree with, you judge to be a fraud. I don't agree with the Ayatollah
Khomeni either, and I don't follow his teachings, but millions of people
call him a Holy Man, so for them, he is one.
