Well, first of all, I was not talking about competition,
competition=scarcity consciousness, and there isn't any. I was wondering
what motivates you to do something that you appear not to have time or
money for. I have never been able to figger out what is the difference
between a website and a web magazine.. they both look like websites, to
me..:) Perhaps you can clarify?

>Your sites (which I admire tremendously)
Thanks.. :)

Is that the difference between a website and a webmagazine?

Yeah, I'm still trying to figger out what to call it, too..:) Fem-Dom
Tantra? Kundalini Shamanism? I've named the Tantra course, "Fire Serpent
Tantra".. Magne Ana"s "Cult of the Feminine" is interesting, but not very
descriptive.. and most folks have a kneee-jerk negative reaction to the
word "cult".
If you do link to Domin8rex.com, please include a warning that it is an
Adult site.. thanks in advance..

>As an example of how you could use our site to your benefit instead of
>viewing it as a competitor,
Laura, you are getting very defensive, and I'm not sure why. I did not
mention competition in my post, at all. I asked about your motives, and you
did not really answer that.

>> Laura, what I don't understand, is why you are creating this organization

Well, given that you are focusing on links and referrals, it seems more
like a .net, to me... as in "Spiritual Emergency Network", which is a
people network not an internet network..
But it's your baby.. :)

Might want to rewrite it, it looked like you were asking for
donations, to me.. :) She gave a balance sheet that showed you are in the
hole.. I'm not clear why anyone would expect to be paid for contributing to
a free site..

>When you say "complaining about how much work it is," I guess you're
referring

Yep.

> I don't view these as complaints.
They looked like complaints, to me..

>I enjoy working on the site very much. I ask for volunteers because the
goal is to

more

Ah so.. well, it still comes down to you creating something that you
don't really have time for.

>> I'm not saying you have to do as I do, you can do as you like, but you

>
>I'm sorry you regard my posts as spam.
I regard them as spam because you usually cross-post the exact same
post to several lists.. and you do it regularly. That makes it spam, to
most folks.
You usually do not send anything else to the lists.. you don't get
involved in the discussions, which is what the lists are about. It appears
that your only interest in being on the lists, is to solicit for your
magazine. Spam.

> If you want me to stop
>sending them, just let me know, and of course I'll comply.
I didn't ask you to stop sending them, I asked about your motives.
Instead you are getting defensive about "competition", which I did not
mention, at all.

>> ... and trying to re-invent the wheel. Why?

Buddhism,

OK., that partly answers my question.

>Doesn't that question apply equally to you and El? Why do you each have
sites
>instead of one of you working on the other person's?
??????????? Boy, you really are getting defensive!!! What's that
about???
If you had actually READ the K-list FAQ, (which you are supposed to do,
when you join..) you would know that El had more to do with the creation of
the K-list, than I did. I inherited the job of caring for it, but I did
not create it. The website was created by the original list owner, Richard
Satin.. I redesigned it, and have had a hand in updating it... but much of
that work has been done by volunteers, who lend their support.
In any case, I spoke to El last fall, about the possibility of my taking
over publication of Shared Transformation, so that it could continue. ST a
hard copy magazine that is supported by a website, not just a website. Nor
is it an email list, as the K-list is.
She was not yet ready to give it up, and since then I have become
involved in creating a Kundalini Sanctuary, and probably would not have
time for it, anymore.

>In my case, the answer is, first, yes, your organizations are very much
worthy of
>support. And I think I'm giving support by creating a site that will draw in

sites.
Well, if you say so..:) Actually, thanks to the efforts of the lovely
and delicous Freda, the K-list site is very well represented in the search
engines, and linked all over the planet. Another way to support it, might
be to allow us to archive articles that relate to Kundalini, once you have
taken them off your magazine. :)

>Second answer is, I have a different editorial vision than other people,
just like you
>do, just like El does. There is no existing site that exemplifies that
vision. If there
>were, I would be doing something else.
OK, that answers my question about motive.. that was easy, eh? I
already said that you don't have to do what I do.. so why are you getting
so defensive??

http://www.realization.orgj
orgi.. that's a cute typo..:)

>P.S. So if I make a page that talks about your site and links to your
site, I'm helping
>you just as much as if I made a page for your server. It's the links that
matter, not the physical location of the page.
?????? I already thanked you for the links.. I was asking about your
motives...
Blessings..
