Gee, thanks for calling upon me as one of the three wise ones (wise guys?) on
the list. After my "I'm history" quip -- which was my admission that my
wisecracks were not a healthy way to engage the alpha wolf list Mystress --
some people thought I was unsubscribing from the list. It seems I'm still
here... Angelique's spiked heels must be made of the most etherial silken
substance, because this is the softest boot stomp I've ever received, LOL!
Seriously, regardless of whose madness is whose, I think we all partake of
each other's beauty, joy, sadness, pain, confusion and general crappola... I
was extremely surprised by your attack on Tony because it seemed out of
character for you, so I figured you must have had a REALLY bad day and had
sort of blown a gasket. I've seen you clobber people who have deliberately
baited you -- or a few who were terrorizing the whole list -- but neither of
these seemed applicable to Tony's situation. As I've said before, the job of
list mystress is inordinately stressful. If it were me, I probably would
have gone totally ballistic years ago and would still be locked away
somewhere wearing a muzzle like Dr. Lecter in "Silence of the Lambs".
Your elaborate explanation/apology/request-for-advice very much touched me,
as I know that publicly backtracking from a passionate stance is very
difficult (shades of Tony? Maybe you're still processing in tandem with
him...). It takes quite a bit of maturity and integrity to admit, "Maybe I
was wrong (or had poor timing)."
I consider all that happens in my interactions with the world to be part of
my inner guidance, all of it leading me somewhere, developing into something
beyond what it might on the surface seem to be. I'm not offering anything
I'm saying here in lieu of your own guidance, Angelique. Your guidance
didn't fail you -- it just took you around some sharp curves. And here you
are, exactly where and how you're supposed to be. Hang in there, and thanks
for putting up with me and all the other bozos on the list.
No offense to the non-bozos on list. To all the bozos (you know who you
are): I invite you all to mightily protest my use of this not nice and, to my
demented mind, pretty funny word.
