I agree with winter mute and Martin Thompson, about these things not being
underground, and bubbling away like spiritual cancers in peoples'
consciousnesses ready to explode into mayhem when the time is
right (or wrong!) So we all learn, but some people pay a very heavy
price for us all learning, God help them. I agree these negative attitudes
to people you perceive (in whatever way) as different to you/us /whoever,
are caused by stress, strain and ignorance, and the only cure is to bring in
the light, and the darkness just disappears.
Darkness is not a substance, it's just lack of light.
On a personal note (personal opinion that is) I think Muhammad Ali the boxer
buried the myth of racial superiority once and for all.
When he was in his prime, what white man could look at him and think,"I'm
better than you?"
And he appears to have coped with his subsequent illness with grace and
courage.
On a more personal note, is pain in the back of the legs a k symptom, or a
symptom of a physical illness. (I'm a bit cowardly because my father died
of a stroke and one of the first symptoms he had, (years before his stroke)
was calf pain. The pain has only come in the last 2 days
